Small Bio: Himura was a promising samurai and was soon appointed to be Yamada Ichiro’s bodyguard. It was strange for him to be Yamada’s bodyguard so soon because he was so young but Yamada saw a lot of promise in him.
However, Himura was accused of stealing from his daimyo. Himura spoke back in protest but no one believed him. Though Yamada believed him, the shogun did not. He was ordered to commit honorable suicide.
That night, Yamada showed himself to Himura, saying that he shouldn’t have to do this. Himura said it was of no use and he couldn’t run away and risk Yamada’s life. Yamada, impressed by Himura’s loyalty, revealed himself as Elijah Dark, the Prince of Ghosts. He promised to give Himura a valuable artifact after helping him with the seppuku, as Himura wouldn’t be able to handle the artifact as a human.
After the seppuku, as he promised, Elijah gave Himura a muramasa, or demon blade. It’s said to have supernatural powers but cause men to go insane with bloodlust. Thankfully, Himura’s willpower and loyalty suppressed the bloodlust. Now he serves his “daimyo” as his skilled fighter.
Powers: Flight, intangibility, invisibility, superhuman strength, and able to summon a Gashadokuro, a giant man-eating skeleton, from his sword.
